This campaign -- launched while I was at the Jewish Council for Public Affairs -- focused heavily on grassroots advocacy to support the bipartisan Gillibrand-Murkowski Summer Meals Act (2014 and 2015). Our two-pronged approach was to 1) lobby key Senators to cosponsor the bill when they were in DC, and 2) support our members in coordinating in-person visits to Summer Meals sites with their Members of Congress during the August Recess.
