Celebrating New Americans Campaign

In 2015, I launched a social media campaign, "Celebrating New Americans," for the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) during Jewish American Heritage Month. This campaign combined stories of everyday and well-known Jewish immigrants with a push for Jewish groups to engage with and support present-day new Americans in their communities.

The capstone of the Celebrating New Americans campaign was a conference call cosponsored by the White House, with Administration officials from the Department of Homeland Security, the Small Business Administration, and the White House Office of Public Engagement.

The campaign increased JCPA's social media interactions by 200% on Facebook and 300% on Twitter, as JCPA members shared their and their families' personal stories of immigration.
